Not that I have to prove anything to the likes of you, nor do I need or care for your opinion, let me clear up some mistaken assumptions!
In case you missed it, I have had my CDL since 1994. I started driving trucks in 1988(before CDL's existed). I got out of trucking in 2011. Except for a brief trip in the Marine Corps in 1990-1991, all I knew was trucking.
But to answer your question,Yes, you are right! There is a part of me that was just like Abe!!!
I was asked, coerced, threatened etc to drive with an unsafe condition too.
MANY TIMES AS A MATTER OF FACT!!!
I am glad that someone finally had the testicular fortitude to document their shenanigans and break it off in their rectum!!!
I am glad that someone finally had the courage to expose their dirty laundry for the world to see!!!

It's about time for some honesty and integrity in trucking companies! The drivers have it, the companies...NOT SO MUCH!!!

Do you want to know how I define 'integrity'?
It means doing the right thing at the right time always, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU THINK NO ONE IS LOOKING!!!

That was uncalled for. Just because your malcontent anti hero can't pull his big head away from his lap top and get some sleep to prepare for the next day, that means that responsible, professional truck drivers like the rest of us are illegal and tired huh? Why....because we got some sleep?

I think all you ex truckers and soon to be ex trucker Abe, worked at these places because you were below average slackers and you had no other choice. You washed out as failures while the good drivers who could manage themselves succeeded. Blame blame blame is all you types ever do.
