Dispatchers get calls all the time from drivers. Some need their hand held and some need a kick in the arse to get them moving, some want permission to slack off. This particular driver wasn't very forceful at the beginning at the conversation so maybe they weren't sure which one he was. Regardless, as soon as he said he wasn't driving anymore that night, notice that they found another truck to take his load.

The driver was wrong to take a load that he couldn't deliver. Good drivers are drivers you can count on. High maintenance problem drivers don't last in this business.

Get it straight, good drivers practice safety.Bad drivers get the load there no matter what and only time safety exist is when they're sleeping.Drivers like you are dropping off like flies,FMCSA won't have it..Also thanks to drivers like you we have a thousands of laws and more and more every yr.
