Just keep trying there are plenty companies out there.... How did they found out about your accident? You should go to your DMV and get an MVR and see for yourself what's on your license... Good luck to you

The one who shot you down was a company run school or a private one? I'm guessing company owned such as Roehl or Millis. If you have the financing you might want to go to a tech college or a private school anyways and have more options and companies to choose from.

Also, since you were laid off you can go through a community college and get your CDL for free i think and then you can apply to many other companies that don't train for CDL, just a thought

Did the 'School' or the 'Company' turn you down? You're not clear enough on that.

If it was a school....could be one of those schools that boast they WILL get you hired on to a trucking company once you pass the course---and knowing you have a recent accident on your MVR, they may be afraid they can't find you a job, and you will attempt to sue them for false advertisement.

If it is a trucking company; they all have their hiring procedures, requirements, and technics....and you with a recent accident, did not fit their criteria.

As many have stated...."move on to the next one".

I had a DUI that was 3 years old when I graduated trucking school, and though most companies required it to be 5, 7, or 10 years old; I found a school that didn't care, and a company that didn't either. Neither "fell in my lap", I had to hunt for them...but they are out there if your hard up enough.
Yes, it took many, many, MANY calls and applications; but it happened never-the-less.

Get a copy of your mvr report and dac report from http://hireright.com/Consumers-Applicants.aspx it will take about two weeks for that report but it will include anything that any other trucking company is going to see about you.

Well since it was CRE i think u lucked out for not getting on with them heheh i have a cousin who drives with them and in past seven months he has been home only twice.... He told me he can't wait for couple more months to quit and find another company to drive for since he did their CDL program. If he was to leave now he would owe them money for CDL and it would go on his DAC....

If he has never driven for anyone...a DAC report has not yet been created for him.
