Youtube 'pre-trip.' That should keep you busy for a while.

Very little jargon/ a whole lot of checking everything. Practice saying everything is the key.

    Take your written tests yet?

If you have a dog Millis isn't your best choice. I live alone with a dog so she has to come with me. Ozark has a pet policy, Millis does not. They also unload freight. No thanks, I'd rather 100% no touch when its -20 degrees outside.

Read the dmv manual. Then look at videos

    Learn your tire wear limits.

    Until you’re in school, I wouldn’t bother.

The individual layout of the truck (varies by year and model tremendously) and such, makes it nearly pointless to try to ‘learn’ too much out of a book.

For the first ten times you do the pre-trip, you really need to be looking at the part, and say what it is. Otherwise, you can ‘memorize’ a list, without actually understanding how the parts are related or interact.

The pre-trip just takes repetition. Do it twice a day, and within a couple weeks you’ll have it cold.
