Do all companies have following distance safety alerts??

Does every company have those following distance safety things installed on their trucks? I'm a very good driver and I've never been in an accident. But, I always get those alert things going off for braking too hard and stuff like that. Do all the large companies have those types of things? I understand the value of safety but I don't really like having someone tell me I'm driving unsafe just because I brake harder than they want me to, or just because somebody cut me off in a city. And I'm not trying to make excuses or anything. I'm hoping there are any companies out there that don't have that sort of thing.

I also couldn't stand the lane tracker alarm. Luckily I got a truck with a malfunctioning Lane tracker so it never went off. But it was really annoying in training.

Also, I see the post about companies that do use driver facing cameras. But wouldn't it be more helpful to have a post with companies that don't use those?

I'm thinking of going back to otr. I've taken about a year off of work. And just been living off of my savings after having gotten my CDL through a mega and spent a year with them. And I've done some local non truck driving work. So I'm feeling a little rusty so I think I want to go back to OTR and one of the megas. Or something. I'm not really sure how to get back into Trucking without having to go through another class again. So I'm thinking if I go back to one of the megas, I can just kind of get a feel for things again. And then just quit after a few weeks and go find a local job. Or a dedicated run. With a decent sleep schedule.

I'm guessing that if a new company hires me, they're going to make me pass a driving test in order to get hired. So maybe I'm probably better off going back to the company that I was working for before. That way I don't have to pass a driving test in order to get hired since they know I've worked with them for a whole year. Even though they have all those safety things that annoy me. And I didn't like how pushy they were with all the loads.

If your follow distance alarm is going off frequently, you’re not keeping a space cushion around you.
Lane keeper going off means you’re not holding your lane.
Braking hard means you’re following too closely.
    See the common link here?
You’re driving a semi, not a sports car.
40 tons of unforgiving metal that don’t care.
    That’s your job.
You are in command of that vehicle.
You’re responsible for safely operating it, and being able to control it despite the stupid around you,
    Yes you’ll be cut off
    Yes you’ll be jammed up
    Yes four wheelers are ignorant
It doesn’t absolve you off your responsibilities.
You have to factor in their stupid to your driving.
Otherwise, you be a statistic and back on here asking for help finding a second chance company that will take you with an at fault wreck on your psp.
    Ease off that hammer.
Smooth is fast, fast is smooth.
You won’t win by beating the snot out of your truck.
That gets you down time in the shop for stuff you tore up.
Gentle and deliberate gets you more miles and more money.
    Every single time.

I also get annoyed when the lane departure, following distance, or hard braking alarms go off. Annoyed at myself.

My Cascadia’s camera system is not working at present, so I don’t get the lane departure warnings. But the assisted cruise and braking features aren’t working either, so I’m headed to a dealership close to home in August to address it.

Thank you so much for completely ignoring my question. I really appreciate that.

There are plenty of people who agree with me who drive safely. Like I said, I have never had any kind of accidents.

Talk to the shop they can be out of adjustment.
And no not all companies have them I am fortunate enough I have a 24 model with only the GPS tracker no safety features but our newer trucks do have outbound facing cameras but no lane departure crap.
