Hello everyone, just finished my first year OTR with US Xpress and am looking to possibly relocate to Texas or New Mexico. I was naive to the industry at the time and went through their CDL school, so I have an automatic only restriction on my CDL. I will eventually get it removed, but for now do any oilfield trucking companies in Texas or New Mexico hire with an automatic only restriction on your CDL? I have my tanker and Hazmat, and I honestly don't care if it's hauling water, sand, or whatever, just looking to get my foot in the door. I also don't care of it's a Class A or B truck. Before I got into trucking I worked a few years for a frac fueling company in Texas, so I'm already accustomed to oilfield life. Thanks in advance for any info or input!

You got 9 energy in Hobbs, NM & sweetwater, TX.

Work is driving bulk tanks full of cement to job sites and driving pneumatic tanks to transfer cement to solos for future work sites.

Pay is $20/hr + per firm it’s not the worst not the best pay but they drove automatic trucks only
