Do background checks include credit score?

    Just wondering before the trucking companies gonna hire you, they'll do background check, criminal record check and driving record check, I wanna know if that background check includes a credit score check?

    Usually not. Most don't care about that. But some might (very rare. I actually don't know of any but am sure someone does). For the most part they are verifying employment history, checking criminal records and driving history.

    No but they do check your work history thoroughly,call each number;also contact your driving school for records and ask about everything on your abstract.Are you still in school?

    there are companies that DO a credit check as well. who they are in particular i cannot say, but you will usually be signing papers giving permission for that anyways...


    can a company deny you employment for a bad credit score/history..??
