OK so I was unable to get a hole in one on the 90 degree back up in about a month or training I only made it once but maybe I got lucky, I can get it near the hole but it takes me like 15-20 minutes of maneuvers to get it in the hole, will I get hired? do drivers who are bad backers get hired?
At least I wont park front first like the moron in the picture

Plenty of them get hired. You could get a recommendation from @Hurst hes familiar with a company that hired bad backers.
-
Plenty of "drivers" who can't drive forward get hired. You won't have any problems getting hired without being a good backer.
Joetro, HorseShoe and marineman227 Thank this. -
You'll be hired, especially for team positions or flatbed.
Flatbed drivers don't even know where reverse is and only park in pull thru spots in truck stops.Lightside, 77smartin, S M D and 1 other person Thank this. -
You will be fine, we all sucked at backing once. Some days we all still do. Here is what I did. When I was a rookie I drove van and in van you go to a lot of drop lots. You will have some time, practice by yourself, no pressure. You will get it down. It just takes time and confidence.

Just drive flat bed or tanks. Lol seriously it took me years to figure out backing you will get it but it takes time and you can get a job.

this is trucking. you dont need to know how to back, go forward or stay in the lines...
just look at your local mega carrier hahah -
If you can't back, flat bed is not necessarily the way to go. Lots of places you have to back into where you only have an inch on either side of the trailer (shingles out of Frederick, MD). Or have to put your trailer up against an outside dock down the side of your trailer. I have also had to back inside a building, turn 90 degrees left to avoid a column then come back 90 degrees to get in the spot they wanted me in.
My few years of flat bedding was way more challenging than pulling vans. Especially, in reverse.truckerlife74, WesternEmpire, blairandgretchen and 4 others Thank this. -
Ketchikan baby, Vilhiem and RicoNC Thank this.
