I'll try that. I assumed the truck died from not being in gear. Thank you.

No I don't think so. The only way to make the heater come on is to switch it in high then press the cruise control then turn the truck off then the heater comes on in like 15 min. I thought maybe I could turn the knobs on the dash to ac and it would somehow make the bunk heater turn into ac but everyones saying it wont work.idk

Put the ignition switch on accesory, the bunk blower will blow ambient air around. Not a/c but it sounds like your company doesnt want you to idle anyway. It might stay running on high idle depending on the settings in the ecm.

If I bought a fridge and left it open do you think that would cool down the truck at night? Maybe two of them or three?

As I understand, the bunk heater is separate from the truck A/C.

No. Would have almost no cooling effect ... you would be surprised how much a small fan helps and you can run it all night won't kill batteries at all

Its been a while since Ive been in a sleeper but arent the a/c and heater two different systems? If they are as long as your blowers good it should work...as far as the idle thing I dunno im still newbie.

All a bunk heater does is draw a very small amount of fuel from your tanks, puts it on a heater element, which gets real hot from electricity from your batteries, and has a small fan to blow the heat into the sleeper ... very simple, very effective, very efficient, takes maybe 0.5 gallon for a full 10 hours and can cook you out of the bunk on high mode.

When I was with Prime, I tried everything to make my truck idle. Out of desperation, I finally took a broom and wedged it between the armrest and the throttle. It worked. It might work with your truck.
