I believe sms updated once a month by first week , if you get inspected on 27 ...by 10th of next month it will be there , if you get it inspected on the 2nd - most likely within a month on the first week of the following month

    Do they?

HA. They fold it in half and stick it under the leg of the wobbly dispatch table.

Serves them right for being too cheap to buy proper tables for that work in government auctions. Those tables from the Government is nice, thick and strong so take the incessant shoving from angry dispatchers unable to deal with that wobbly leg.

On a CVSA inspection report there is no such thing as a warning.

Anything listed is a violation. Period.

What most LEO's get wrong is calling it a warning when no citation is issued. It's still a violation, no different for the driver than if a citation is issued other then it's much harder to fight.

Correct that as far as the feds go there is no such thing as a warning. If it’s on the inspection report it’s a violation. A LEO indicating a warning on an inspection is not however him getting it wrong. He is merely saying a violation is being noted but there is no cite/fine. The noted violation on the inspection (Shown as a warning) is not harder to fight (DataQ) than any other violation on the inspection. If a citation is issued with the inspection it actually “can” be more complicated.

I disagree. An LEO saying it's a warning is wrong. Period. It's not a warning, it's a violation. A warning implies no negative as long as it doesn't happen again. Well, there is a negative. The violation happens to effect both the companies CSA score and the drivers PSP report. If it was truly a warning there would be no negative impact.

As for it being harder to fight.. Well courts routinely will drop the offense to something that's not a violation if you just pay the court more money. Then one can DataQ with the actual convicted charge and get it removed. For a violation without a citation the DataQ goes back to issuing agency and while some do remove it, it's very rare. All in all, it's much likelier to get an inspection removed with a citation. Although I will admit depends on the situation more than anything.

Companies do not get an actual copy of a roadside inspection report unless the officer sends it to them or you give it to them. They can however log into Safersys.org and see that there was an inspection and who the driver was. They can than do a DataQ challenge simply to request a copy of the missing report. If the warning you got was JUST a warning and was not on the roadside inspection form than the carrier will not know that you got it. Some warnings require them to be signed off and returned, some do not.
