The stoplight will likely have a warning sign at the top of the hill
justcarhaulin, broke down plumber, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -
I will ask the City if this light is in the plans. Thanks

At 55 mph it takes 450 feet (on average) to stop a truck. Anyone going around a blind curve at 55 is dumb, even moreso when entering a town, so I probably wouldn't have a problem with it. But then again I don't drive like a hopped up ungulate.
If you give us the location of the proposed stop light we can give better responses. -
Don't forget, MOST truck drivers actually know_how_to_drive (which is more than I can say about most 4-wheelers....).
cuzzin it, CrappieJunkie, justcarhaulin and 3 others Thank this. -
It is a minor arterial posted 35MPH - with 3 lights within 1000 feet in a residential/commercial area.Last edited by a moderator: Apr 11, 2024

In that case I would have no problem getting stopped in time. I would probably grumble that it should be a roundabout, but that's a different conversation.

Drive 4 conditions

I would rephrase that
, today’s generation are a whole different breed with automatics and all.
