Do drivers think about driving down a hill around a blind curve?

    Can you not still change down with an auto to assist in retardation, never driven a fully automtic truck but I can certainly do that in my car.
    Or perhaps you mean that the youngsters don't know how to do that. ;):)

    Lots of drivers don’t have a lick of common sense. Not really drivers, just steering wheel holders, that need lane departure warnings and adaptive cruise control and auto braking

    Sounds like you talking about SR 68 westbound from Kingman, Az......6% 2 escape ramps, traffic light at bottom in blind curve. This is going into Bullhead City.

    Pennsylvania is guilty of this on many of their backroads. Always a light at end of the curve at bottom of the hill with very little time before the yellow turns to red. Usually a 55mph zone too.
