Do Dz owner operator who expedite cross border make decent money?

    Hi fellas truckers, I was looking around on the internet finding jobs for fun and one thing that caught my eyes DZ cross border, some are Owner operators, I know for a fact that DZ owner operator won't make Six figure as a tractor trailer owner operator especially living in Toronto Ontario, but do they make at least $60,000 net profit, lower or a little bit more?

    No they do not, its the same as the RV hauling, basically you're doing it for the cost of the fuel, and wearing yourself and your equipment out. Go Shunt.

    I don't know. If you were in the gta to Windsor area, had a dock level straight truck and did hotshot you might be alright. But it would be feast or famine and you have to drop everything a 10:30 at night and go to work with no notice. Not my cup of tea.

    That kind of work went really soft for a while. I’ve noticed used truck, leasing and finance company compounds have been filling up with “Expedite” trucks for a couple of years now. Place and circumstance. If you were tied into a a couple of the LTL outfits running the 401 corridor for instance you may do ok or better. Those guys all end up with a dock full of over-books, late arrivals and #### that got forgot every night. A guy might be able to build something out of that.
