    This is what I zeroed in on. Forget about all the goodwill, handholding, singing kumbaya stuff. You're getting ready to go into business..... Calculate your costs, look at your cost per mile, and ensure that your rates are solid, cause if they're not....

    I can tell you that those trucks he's letting you have are just now hitting the end of the warranty period..... and those engines are expensive to work on.....not only will you be responsible for the maintenance, you're on the hook for the repairs as well....

    That's mighty big of them, managing your money for you....

    You need to be very careful about what you're getting into here.

    they were around in 1979 when I started.

    Midwest distribution, fort scott,ks get a truck for a buck. down payment that is, and I think national freight , dart. it isn't a new concept. just more prolific these days.

    Truck Lease Purchase I know.....when the OP said
    I just chuckled and thought about people showing up at Cr England, Prime, Swift lease Purchasing 10 trucks at a time and calling themselves a "Fleet Owner" lol

    I like the purchase, well kept trucks. May have transmission issues. Great opportunity to make yourself a Driver. Or go broke/ It's up to you. I did it :)

    Oh crap, Mother Hubbard again. Going to look really cool, a com check from a long haired Trucker. I should have been a metal worker. Oh No. Got to pay the Monkeys. I have things in mind, Smokey & the bandit. Just a thought.

    Please enter inspection bay 3. We got a commendation from the State for a great status of profession of transport over 40,000 . They sent a copy to our house. Cool. 993 hp. Why do you need that? I haul a lot of weight.

    I don't pretend to know it all. I know enough to make a load from A to B. HP don/t mean much. Skill. smooth. Gears don't mean much if they don't work. I spend about 800.00 a month in maintainece.
    Never needed to show off. I get wrecked, because I miss my Wife, & Daughter. No Man should have to do that. I got a truck.
