So I have an interview coming up with FedEx Freight as a Road Driver. Sounds like an awesome job once you adjust to the work schedule. Right now I deliver beer off of a side load truck. I don't do any backing up to a dock but do have to do some backing which in some spots are pretty difficult. I drive an automatic everyday.
Basically it seems like I have the experiance on paper but I'm kind of worried that they will pick out the inexperience I have due to the basic driving I do now. I do have the furthest route from our warehouse which I have kept just to get the highway driving. I drive about 200 miles per day.
Do I even have a shot at a position like this with my experiance? Thanks in advanced.
Do I even have a shot?

Well, you already did the hard part , which is to get the interview. I imagine, they already went through your resume and checked your experience, so they want to talk to you for a reason.
Just be calm and profesional during the interview.
Good luck !MidWester Thanks this. -

I'm a worry freak. It's a good opportunity but it's not the only good job out there so I'm just going to go in with a open mind and hopefully it turns out well.

Most the time , employers hire by judging your character and the kind of impression you project. Keep that in mind, use profesional language and dress accordingly.TequilaSunrise, G13Tomcat and Big Don Thank this. -
Hell shoulda seen me the first time i drove a super 10, looked like the red headed step child of the blind rookie..... for 3 miles, by the time we got back, the guy testing me out said, ####, you sure you haven't drivin one of these before? I said "what you already forget the first few miles?"
