Are there any companies that won't have me traveling to the cities on the east coast? I really want to avoid going to some of the more dense cities in America. I would much rather just tour around the mountain side of America and on into Canada. Are there are companies that could make this dream a reality? If I go into flat bedding or tanker, would I get sent less to the east coast? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Do I have to drive on the East coast?

Where is your location? Put it on your profile. OK, Houston,TX
Danny Herman Trucking doesn't run Northeast. Most of their freight lanes are below I-40 and all the way to Southern California. You need an 85 GPA from cdl school to qualify.
Paul Transportation in Tulsa might not do the Northeast; call and ask. They haul lots of oil field supplies; pipe, etc.Last edited: Aug 3, 2017

Upstate New York isn't bad, the top is pretty country.
But when it comes to Long Island, Staten Island, Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, no way.
To expensive, to tight, to much on the nerves.
I do go to the port in Baltimore on rare occasions but that's my limit. -

Haul produce to PA. Then you can turn around and head right back to the West Coast.
Bean Jr. Thanks this.
