Hi all, new to the forum and thankful for any and all feedback.
Long story short, I’ve been driving for coming up on 1 year. I have a clean driving record (in my car and my truck) with no speeding tickets, preventable accidents l, service failures, etc.
My only concern is I got hit once by a deer (middle of the night, low visibility in Oklahoma, driving well under the speed limit). It caused MINOR damage to the deer guard and front bumper, but otherwise the truck was totally fine. I reported it to safety and sent pics and they said all good to keep rolling.
My question is when applying to a new company, is this something you would disclose? Is there any need? I figure they’d call safety to confirm if I’ve been in any accidents, so wanted to get your 2 cents.
thanks in advance
Do I have to report animal strikes to companies I’m applying for?

If the Deer has contacted the cops to file a police report or if it made an insurance claim, it may hinder your next gig.Flat Earth Trucker, Stonehjl, Moosetek13 and 6 others Thank this. -
I’m not sure about the regulations but I think it says something about reportable if death or ambulance or something had to be towed. I’m sure you would have stopped to make sure the other party was fine before committing a hit and run, right?
