It probably means they posted something then changed they're mind for some reason & that is the only way to erase what they had posted.![]()

Too bad I am not near-by. I have one in the door pocket, and several under the bunk LOL

Anyone send Diesel bear or scalenaster a PM? I would think they could answer this question easily and I would trust their answer way more than any driver's!
-
Posts 4&5 are the correct answers. I have been running nothing but Haz-mat for the last 3 years and trust me, you need the response book and your bills with-in reach while wearing your seat belt. I have been inspected and tested on this 4 times already this year (all in Texas) and I ALWAYS put the bills on the corresponding page with the materials I am hauling.

Why dont you PM them yourself? Since you only trust their answers.trucker_101 and SHC Thank this.

You DO NOT need to carry the Title 49 CFR Haz Mat Reg book with you to carry Hazmat.
You DO need to carry either the Orange ERG Emergency Response Guidebook, the MSDS sheets for the products you are carrying, or the equivalent information mandated by 172.602 of the HMR. This info is to be carried in the same manner as HM shipping papers.Panhandle flash, SHC, wis bang and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not only good practice to have the BOL slipped between the pages matching the material but also looks very good on the driver when it it immeditly handed to a DOT officer before he even asks for the bill's and shows that you know your stuff and you've got it together and are prepaired. Big brownie points!SHC Thanks this.

I sense a haz-mat quiz coming on.

Yeah, after I got inspected the 4 times this year (all by the same DOT officer) he now waves at me as I pass him ion the median. It helps to be polite, and know your job when it comes to others. Makes life much easier later down the road

Thanks guys. I do appreciate the response. I managed to get one at Iowa 80 and its in the truck now.
I did have 2 of them but since I have moved from CA to NC then just recently to IL who knows where they are at. Moving sucks.....
