In Georgia do I need my own authority to haul log say I say in the 100 mile radius? And what’s the minimum on insurance? What if I’d like to add trucks and drivers later on?

honestly, don't you think it would be much more productive to go to a log hauling outfit and ask them these questions? There's really not many log haulers on this site.

As in ag products that are from field/ forest to processor doesn’t require motor carrier authority. Once they have been milled, they have now became processed thus requiring authority

Also you can haul clear across the country. There is also special log book exemptions for ag products as well as local hauling
