I still haven't given up on trucking but here is My question. I got a offer to be a lumpier for a trucker come flower time. He says he gets busy in a couple of weeks delivering flowers. He wants to have Me go along to unload will I have to keep a log book because I have a CDL? I won't be driving because of Insurance reasons.

Since you aren't driving, nor hired/cleared to drive, no. There will probably be a rider release needed, though.
