Actually in the grass. He had grandma and grandpa pulled over on the shoulder, preventing me from driving on the shoulder. When I looked out the driver side mirror, all I saw was a boney finger sticking out the window telling me I'm #1!

I agree with the op to a point. If its no trucks left lane then u should be in right lane unless passing . If theres no restrictions and not much truck traffic then im in middle lane riding the flow. If its heavy truck traffic and no restrictions ill probably be in right lane. Sometimes its easier to deal with dumbos that dont know how to merge than it is dealing with angry truckers who want to drive up ur ### and get around u at 85 mph, a wreck waiting to happen and i dont wanna be a part of it.

I think the thing that gets my road rage going is the dipwads that jump out into the passing lane while climbing a mountain because the truck in front of them is going 25 and ol buddy wants to go 26 so he backs up traffic for the next 18 miles. Meanwhile the rest of us is light or empty and could pull the mtn at 50+ but theres always gotta be a richard out there

Are you the guy that drives his 80k rig only 2 feet away from the bumper of the truck in front of you?

Most of the people who run the 2nd lane wont admit it but they are deliberately impeding traffic, and are causing a more dangerous situation. They will speed up when you go to the right lane, they will take 10 miles to pass another truck , then speed up as soon as they pass him, that's why I like the 2 lanes, lot less of the self appointed trafic controller, fuel at a small truckstop, no dufus doing his break on the fuel island.

I don’t know where exactly you get your stats, but my experience tells me that most people who speed (especially in residential areas) do more mistakes. I have a video off of my dash cam to prove. The guy in front of me is a truck driver like you and me. I don’t know if he was trying to avoid uncleared pavement, or thought he was pulling a trailer. But he had an audacity to call the cops (not realizing I had a dash camera).
