My experience with Pilot's Wandering Wifi is not very good. Don't really ever get a decent signal unless I'm right up close.
I have one of those USB mobile devices from Virgin Mobile, pay $20 for 1GB/month and that has lasted me almost 3 weeks so far, but I don't do a lot of interneting, hardly have time to get on here as it is. It's also $50/month for unlimited. I get signal 99% of places I go to, sometimes a good signal, sometimes not too good. Sitting here at the back of Huck's in Mt. Vernon, IL and getting full signal.HwyPrsnr and Gulf Coast Trucker Thank this. -

Right now I'm using the browser on a company supplied Blackberry . They gave us Blackberrys. So drivers wouldn't tie up dispatch phones . The Blackberry is also paired for e-logs.
You should get. An aircard rather than depend on truckstop wifi . The signal is poor since most went to Wandering WiFi . Flying J was great until they sold out to Pilot . A few truckstops have free wifi but not many . McD's have it and sometimes you can. Get a signal from a nearby hotel.FatDaddy Thanks this.
