I can show w2 jobs before that going bact to 2000. Have not made any money with the llc but is still shows up as active on the Sec of State website. Otherwise, I only have worked seasonally the past 4 yrs. I want to know if on applications should I only list the llc for the past 4 years?
Do new drivers have to show 10 yrs employment? have an llc. from 2006 is it enough?

I know the apps I filled out said past three years employment UNLESS you've driven commercially then you have to show 10 years.
-
Will my buisness liscence be enough? Should I list the seasonal work?
-
If you want to be really safe, bring your tax returns for the past 3 years.
-
List everything and I do mean EVERYTHING......Federal law states 10 year employment history, BUT, the company only has to verify back 3 years. FYI.
-
If my company lost money the last few years will that exclude me from getting into trucking?
-
nope businesses lose money all of the time. they just have to prove your work history
-
thanks for the help

Wow, Wildman I am in the same boat as you. Been working for myself for about 3 years and it all went south due to the housing market. Know I am looking into getting my CDL's, and I have been pre approved by a truck driving school and had to give a 10 year work history. And my business I listed as my current employment and they said that will work.
