i dont know why i think of it this way, if a car broke under warranty everything they do is covered, i feel like this situation they would say, "well you drive it here and pay our mechanics for the labor but well give you the parts free" i dunno. bedtime.

ive had my tnd 710 since april after having to exchange it twice, this one has worked fine until the other day when it froze up, would not shut off, pushed the reset button then the unit would not turn back on no matter what tech support had me try. I got home that night and tried turning it on the next morning, it came on like nothing was wrong, i go back out on wednesday, just wondering what would cause this and if i should expect it to happen again and if its fixed after updating it or is there something still wrong, they said to ship it out, but if there is something i could do before shipping it out or going back on the road, i would appreciate the help

Nope, you pay the tow bill. Or you drive it there. Same thing. Getting the critter where it needs to go for the warranty work to get done.

Truck stops do not buy from Rand directly. They do have their own supply chain.

    Thanks,

Well, now we have a problem. I got the replacement unit last thursday, today, exactly a week later the same #### thing is happening. Charging port stopped working. The way I see this is one of two things is going to happen now. Either you get this company to take this GPS back and refund me my original purchase price or I get the bbb involved. I don't want a 4th one, thank you.
