I would only assume its hook and book and then get caught on the scales. I had a lvl 2 in Minnesota and passed. It may cost me a few hours during the day to get something addressed but at the end of the week it doesn’t hurt my miles as I usually have to take a 34 after 6 days anyway.

There’s more to it than just vehicle maintenance. The company has numerous violations on record for speeding, in particular out of Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, and Iowa. It seems that some of your associates are speed demons!

Short body 670 Series condo sleeper. They’re everywhere. Heck I used to drive one. Unlike the 780 models the 670 could handle 44,000+ pound bottled water loads(albeit with fuel restrictions) and still get past scale houses.

Would this be considered a gray area?

I run east, and west. I live in Davenport so I usually get drop and hooks from there going east and going west, California, Arizona, Oregon, then east I go to Richmond Va, or Benson NC, or Dunn NC, then bounce up to Syracuse Ny, taking 95 to 64 to 81. Not bad at all. Some Tennessee out of Syracuse. I have worked for them for about 2 months. I have put 22,510 miles on this truck. I started 4-19-18 and have been home for a total of 10 days. I usually run 4 weeks then take a week off.
