Kind of defeats the name USA. I worked for Westside when they made the move to regional. Talk about a mess and miles dropping. All I can say is....

    Run Forest, Run!

i'm o/o when wking my co. yd is in atl. have spoken with many usa drivers that use our yd. have even given a few food money because usa has screwed them out of pay. I would not ever suggest someone pull for that co.

That is not 100% accurate now is it? They are realigning drivers to regional lanes but are calling drivers and asking them if they want to be regional or otr. It's no big deal really, with intermodals making a push like they are, kinda seems like the trend in the industry.

Kinda over sensationalizing something for print, no?

No when a company splits and goes regional it don't matter if your otr or regional, you're find yourself doing regional work. Start paying attention to your runs your be on a loop. and forget 1000 mile runs. If I'm wrong I'll say so here... So keys wait a few weeks and see..

I am begining to see that they just have no freight.

If you need to get to a terminal, it is almost impossible for them to get you a load going near one.

You tell them you need to get to a terminal, and you are in the middle of PA. You need to get to OH, and they send you up to new england.
They don't have enough loads to send you where you need to go.

I'm just saying, if they had more loads, they could find another company that needs widgets in ohio.

But these shippers are leaving because they get no service from USA.
I heard one company was trying to call usa all day to get more MT trailers sent over. But he could not get a hold of anyone.

he finally asked a usa driver for help.

you can't do that to your customers.

do that to us, but not your customers.
