Well I did finally get paid from DAS on 12-31-15 I got the check ... Almost 120 days from date I invoiced it ..... I see they have a crap ton of loads posted with higher rates then I have seen in a long time .... I hope no one hauls them .... Actually I would haul another load for them just to mess with them ... and not tell them that it's gonna be COD till I deliver then or else cars don't come off trailer ..... I'll put them in a storage lot if I had to

    dsfreight Thanks this.

Just my 2 cents. Do what you want. However when you hold a vehicle hostage the main person you are screwing is the innocent owner of the vehicle be it a private party or a dealer. In the big picture DAS will not loose any sleep over it and will probably report it stolen. Then the onus is on you to deal with law enforcement.

I DO understand how you feel, BUT keep in mind, by accepting their contract terms, (which is not COD) and then failing to deliver puts YOU in the wrong, just saying.

This. The first thing I do when calling about a load/car is look up thier ratings. I have made a company make it cod over just one negative for non payment.

Did you give them a negative rating on central? We had issues getting paid and as soon as I left a negative rating they called within days and paid up not to long after that.. And not sure if you noticed but they actually have 3 accounts all with negative ratings..

Who should you haul for? People who actually pay you for the work you perform would be a good start.
