    On nov 17 2011 I went to the truckstops of america in Ganado texes for an oil change. They ran my truck without oil and blew up my engine!! They denied it and refused to help me at all. after ten weeks the finaly admitted guilt and paid my lease company 23k and sent my source of income to the junk yard. Til this day they have done nothing to help me get a new truck and they refuse to pay my lost wages. Dont let them do this to you. DO NOT GO TO THERE SHOPS AT ALL!!! These people dont care if they destroy your life!!!!

    So after the "oil change"....you just naturally assumed there was sufficient oil to just hop in and run?

    Ever hear of pre-trip inspection. #1. Check fluid levels and belts.

    Well i question whether we are getting the whole story here.This is how i see it. Truck drivers drive trucks. Lawyers handle legal matters. If this is as cut and dried as it's made to sound,most any attorney would leap on it. TA has insurance to cover stuff like this and the lawyers know that. Case like this they probably would just take a slice of the settlement with no up front fees. TA is based in Cleveland,Ohio,lots of lawyers in the Land of Clev.

    NO...They ran it without oil in the shop. I have been fighting with them for three mos now. just started the paperwork on my lawsuit. And why didnt I fix the truck? Realy? Why would I pay 30k to fix something they did? and with what money? It hard to pay that much with your income gone.

    Depending on the "level of proof" you have....could be a slam dunk for you....just keep in mind, if T/A sees a big potential for losing the case....they will drag it out as long as they can! Be prepared for a long drawn out battle!

    I have all my proof and the volvo dealir in houston put in writing that the engine was run without oil. I beleive it is a slam dunk. Your correct, they just want to drag it out!!!
