I always wondered how those Karens in those "no jake brake" zones feel about cop cars and ambulances blasting their sirens at all hours of the night.

If the highway has been there longer then the domicile then they have no right to complain about traffic noise. That goes for jakes and ricers. And half as much right if there’s an incline of more than 2%, reduced speed limit or a potential stop part way down or at the bottom. Don’t build houses within a block of a major highway.
Any intersection busy enough to justify a traffic light on a primary or through secondary highway should be required to be an overpass. -

Speaking of Marine Dr. Mutha just had a story about an Amazon driver abandoning his truck on Marine Dr.
LameMule Thanks this. -
I remember well when a township supervisor asked me to assist him and the township when an accident occurred with a truck on a downhill stretch of town. I agreed, right in front of the supervisor and the attorney I told the driver he should point out that he could have avoided the incident if he had only been allowed to use his Jake.
Don’t know and don’t care if it would have helped or not but I plainly ignore those signs and the 2 tickets I received for it over the years the officer didn’t show for court both times.
To this day that stretch of road is the only place I abuse my Jake and will continue till I stop driving.
I never understood how anyone can say your not allowed to use a device that helps with safety?Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this.
