Do O/O's ever form partnerships?

    So your only guaranteed pay one way then and not both ways. Some joe blow will bid $1.50 lol and Convoy will jump on it

    Yeah somebody may get it that low, but I would only bid with a rate that covered the round trip mileage, not one way, somewhere just south of $4,000 per load. Rates out of the PNW are very low, so an O/O would be nuts to bid that low without something heading south.

    Ok, I reread it and I missed that. May not be a bad deal. But the quickest way to lose a contract like that is to miss a load. So you would need to have reliable people, and some fill in people in the event of a break down

    Yeah that's true. You always need a backup plan with contract freight to keep the customer happy.
