For what it’s worth in addition to the microwave and toaster oven I also have an electric skillet, instant pot, one of the small gorge Forman grills with removable plates that I mostly use for pressed sandwiches, a small dorm room freezer, a 12 volt cooler and the factory fridge. Truck has an 1800 watt inverter and a tripack apu.

I can make anything on the road that you can make at home. Stock up when I get a chance to go through Walmart and unless there is a dq and I want me an Oreo blizzard the only food I buy at the truck stop is an occasional loaf of bread.

This is in a company truck as well. My company equips every truck with a fridge, inverter and apu. If yours doesn’t I honestly have no idea why you would want to work for them. Life on the road is much better when you have basic creature comforts.

I worked for 3 companies before buying my own truck, and I had a microwave on every one of the trucks because I like preparing my own hot meals without going into a truck stop or fast food joint. Just idle the truck while you use it.

I bought this Sharp R1874T microwave to upgrade the original (1850-A) model in our RV. It took me around 15 mins to remove the old one; the 1874-T comes with a new backplate which is identical to the 1850-A one but I decided to renew it as the old one had 12 years' worth of work supporting the relatively-heavy microwave - that was only 8 minutes and 24 screws extra. Everything worked on the run-through so I'm happy it all seems fine. Its design is thoughtful, and its functionality is spot-on without depriving other RV appliances of much-needed power.

This microwave convection oven is a pleasure to have in any motorhome. Its design is thoughtful, and its functionality is spot-on without depriving other RV appliances of much-needed power.

I can't get my microwave to fix so I'm trying to find another location for it.
