I too went to Road Master and they had a few Werner surplus trucks and pushed Werner as a company to start with, then let a few other recruiters in to talk to us, Crete, Schneider, etc, but really pushed Werner. So I would say that it is a big yes...

My school had 3 recruiters come in at various times. All three companies were "decent" as far as OTR mega companies go, based on what I have read here.

Roadmaster in Columbus has 4 or 5 Werner trucks for training students. Not a coincidence.

I imagine schools do get a cut from companies.They're not going to represent them without some kind of cost.

Schools are simply a way to satisfy a desk jockey insurance company requirement today. Schools only provide enough information to get the license, the real learning continues long after that.
