    Just take a deep breath as you start down and relax. Always remember that you're a professional and take it easy. You'll get the load there even if your driving a bit slow. Pay attention to your surroundings. And drive the truck, forget about everyone else except how they effect you then take action to avoid them.

    Yep, I wanted to do tanker or flatbed so i'm glad I got this opportunity. A lot of people told me don't start out with tankers, but a few days riding with another driver, and here I am hauling 80,000 pounds of surging beast over the grapevine most days. I do recognize that sounds scary and is probably an industry wide problem as far as proper training go's though.
