I am currently enrolled in an 8 week course at a vocational school. my 3 year recorde only has a seatbelt violation and a failure to maintain lane. But my five year has a a speeping over 15 mph. could that make me unhireable?

Those shouldn't hurt too badly, but the speeding one will be scrutinized rather harshly.
I have a 16 and 21 year old dui and it seems that I have become unhireable. largely in part to all the drivers with good records out there now. In my defense my driving record is spotless since getting my license back.

where you at? i live in crestview.
the 3 yr old ticket should not be a problem, but IF you live in the panhandle, THAT might make it alot harder.

Finding the good trucking job right out of school is next to impossible there driver. You're gonna have to pay some dues. There is alot of info on trucking companies here on the boards. all you gotta do is a forum search. You'll find good and bad threads on #### near every major company out there. Good luck and be safe

Thnx I know Ill have to bad my dues. Im just looking to get my foot in the door at the moment. Im trying to get some experiance and hopefully keep a clean recorde while I do. Im single with no kids so I wont really need to make alot of money right away and I also won't need much home time. Hopefully that will make my search a little easier..
