In my case I filled out everything with dates matching as closely as possible. During orientation I noticed they had all my employment history printed out separate from what I wrote down.. some of the dates were different, one job had me listed as being employed by a different company, a parent company I guess. Just a few things here and there, they didn't say anything. But yeah, its not hard to find that stuff out. Just be honest there with that stuff.

Hi I graduated trucking school 6 months ago and received my CDL 2 months ago. MY QUESTION is will a company know what date I received my CDL or will they only call my previous employer to find out if I had previous experience? If they can find out without calling my previous employers how do they know ?
Thank you truckers -

I know a CDL mechanic who says he will say I have 6 months experience no problem. I am just wondering if there is anyway they can find out that I got my cdl 2 months ago

Listen if your going to lie you better be really good at it. The company you are going to want to hire on with is going to call and try to find this company for which you are lying about you are going to have to say they went out of business and produce fake pay stubs your going to have to more than likely take a road test and when they see you grinding gears and bad at backing they will doubt the 6 months of experience. Fyi when people read your above posts you are going to get reamed driving a truck is dangerous and just because you passed a drivers ed program dosent mean you can drive you may end up killing yourself or someone else -
x1Heavy Thanks this.
