When I was in the military those truck stop showers would be like gold, I never have had a problem and if anyone is that quirky about the showers grab a gallon of water and wash up outside.

Always use my own towels, soap and flip flops. Some of the nasty drivers out here have skin diseases that are just disgusting. Not to mention the attendants wipes down everything from the shower to the toilet with them.
