Do we have to keep our medical card on us at all times?

I keep my card in my duffel bag when I'm working. Keep the long form at home. Dont carry either when in my personal vehicles.

Somewhere its gonna be asked for when you show em a cdl, they will auto ask for it...have a reason to bother you, smell the damp funky sex smell and used cocaine smell, have a reason to bother you further, etc etc, aint worth it...

Mine sites ask for long forms where I go, once...the first time in..

 

here in cali they did away with the green pocket card and replaced it with a "certificate". They still have the long form as well.

 

Not acceptable. it is an official document, and taking a picture of it is meaningless.

I don't care what they ask for, they won't get my long form. Been asked once by a cop for it, I gave it to him because he was such an ### but after that, they can deal with the short form because that's the official record to drive with. They do not need to know my medical condition or any other private info like that.

 

Think you are carrying the long form which by the way is not legal. I get my cards laminated and keep in wallet

 

Need the card on you if driving a commercial vehicle. I don't think I have a long form. Just the card good for two years.

 

ya, my pal got robbed in mexico, came to border with nothing on himself, or his truck, he had em look up the ID on his yahoo, and it worked!

 

carrying long form is not illegal.
