Do we have to keep our medical card on us at all times?

The clinic where I had my physical made copies of the 4 pages, made the copies smaller, and put them all on one page. Folds up nicely in the wallet.

Per the law you are no longer required to carry the medical card after you take it to the DMV for them to add to the system. I was pulled for a Level one out on I5 and also on I15 in cali and i was not asked for the card either time. now that being said I still keep a copy in my wallet cause i dont trust DOT to know the law. As for if its to big of a paper just go to a copy machine and make a copy and shrink it to wallet size.

When I said carrying the long form is illiegal I meant to say not carrying your Medical card is illiegal. I cant even tell you where my long forms are. Please someone correct me if I am wrong

Will someone be kind enough to quote the section of regulation that requires you to carry a copy of your long form, bet you can't. In 50 years I have never heard of anyone being asked for a long form, just the card.
