    I am posting this question for a friend...

    She wonders how many other drivers expect their wife/GF to constantly visit them for a hour or two? Is that a common thing? Even when they are in another state?

    Or is it just him?

    I would drive anywhere if we have the money...I usually go to NY or PA to meet him if he is there and he takes a night off...

    I always travel to see my better half,I have driven 3 hours to see him.I like doing it,anytime you can spend time together is good.We usually get to spend a dady together its all worth it :)

    She doesn't like to drag the kids, all under the age of 6 with her...and spending the whole day is one thing. He wanted a 2 1/2 drive to see him for 1-2 hrs.

    Yes I never had my wife drive to me just for a quicke well maybe a couple of times, hehehe but for the most part it should be for the day over overnighter.:biggrin_25525:
