You realize i was using the water from the sink and not the actual shower head to wash my bowl and pan right? But even if I did use the shower stall it would still be cleaner than cooking in my truck, which I have been doing everyday for the last six months. Yet I am healthy, I do not take a single pill or medication of any kind. My dot physicals are always good for two years.
Do you guys ever cook in the truck stop showers?

I'm sorry, I can't get down with this.....I hear many of y'all complaing about drivers blocking the fuel island, or washing their feet at the sinks, and this might be worse than that. You're holding up a public shower to cook? I mean to each his own, but that is not something I would do.

Depending on the size of your inverter, you might go in the store and buy a cheap extension cord and a 12v plug and make a new cord. If its a larger inverter buy a battery cable and rig it up. Walk down to the auto parts store, or better yet, all auto parts stores deliver... just have them to bring you one... or at least something to rig up a new inverter cable with.
If worse comes to worse, just use your points (or cash), buy a new inverter... that comes with cables and hold on to the old one as a backup. Then, later on, buy a new cable for the old inverter. Next time you have inverter issues, you have a backup so you don't have to cook.... no telling where.
Please dont cook in the showers...... Jeeezzzz.Studebaker Hawk, Crude Truckin', drvrtech77 and 13 others Thank this. -
Nobody is getting through to the OP. Let me try to phrase it to him this way:
OP, would you be okay with getting into a shower room after an Indian (from India) spent an hour cooking his curry and God knows what else, without you being able to know how well the sinks and counters had been cleaned and sanitized afterwards?
That's how people feel about you cooking in the shower room. You are using a shared space, it's not about whether or not you feel comfortable with cooking in the space but whether or not other people feel comfortable with you cooking in the space.
This is not being nice or respectful to others. Please don't do this anymore OP.Vampire, Hammer166, Savor the Flavor and 10 others Thank this. -
