Do you guys use travel size accessories or the normal package?

I have a shaving bag that is packed with travel size lotion, mouthwash, germ-x, toothpaste, etc. It is easy to carry around everything you need in a little bag, but I would imagine when living on the road you probably have to use the full sized bottles of lotion, toothpaste, etc.? I don't want to look like an idiot walking into a truck stop with full sized toiletries which is why I ask. Oh and I asked another question in a busy topic so it is probably overlooked, but I do not have a sleeping bag yet so do you buy the warm sleeping bag kind or the cold climate sleeping bags? I assume the warm kind since the truck will have the heater on in the winter?

I use the full size stuff, travel size stuff is over priced. I keep all my shower stuff in a Backpack so i can carry all the toiletries and my clothes in there and just carry my towel.

For a sleeping bag dont get a cheapo one, but theres no need for a -50* one either. Allot of companies use Bunk Heaters, some dont in that case just pile up on blankets if you dont have a APU

Thanks guys. Yeah I stay away from the cheapest products. I try to go for the one that is averaged price. I am in love with Amazon, I probably spent thousands of dollars on that site. Mainly because the high TN state tax so with free shipping and tax free products and the fact a lot of the products are a lot cheaper online, it is a great place to shop. I plan to get this one since I am 6'3" and the other warm type sleeping back for tall people has bad reviews about having rough material so here is the one I may have to get:

I have my wife save me small bottles that I refill with shampoo at home. It can get expensive if you get in a hurry and leave a big full bottle of shampoo in the shower.

    Big Don Thanks this.

I re-use the travel size bottles. I keep the big bottles in the truck with me, since I don't go home much, and refill the little bottles to keep in my shower bag.

get real sheets and blankets, much more comfortable than a sleeping bag.

What i do is too go too sam club and buy in bulk , then buy the empty travel conts and refill on my 34 ,on my hometime, i buy everything in bulk, ceral , food , everything, and that vacum pkg machine that sucks air out those bags , makes for a very neet truck inside, holding all your heavy blankets for half the space's, i saved over a thousand or more eating and taking care of the little details this way, :biggrin_25525:

You'll by travel size items at first but that will get old fast. Then you'll start buying 2 of everything. 1 for the house and 1 for the truck.
