    Do you have allergies?

What type of allergies do you suffer from?

If so, what do you take for relief?

My son has allergies really bad..two different med inhalers, several different pills thru out the day, can't wait till he is not to scared to do the shots. As to what sets him off, you name it: animal hair, hot & cold temps, quick change in the temps and humidity, candles, hairspray, sprays of any kind really, those are just to name a few

A bit of a problem in spring, especially when the cottonwoods release that wonderful white fluffy stuff. Usually just take benadryl or actifed.

I used to have just during the spring, but I have them all the time at work and daily I just started using Zyrtex and its great.. but any lorraintaine either generic/name brand works for me but for 12-15 hours, but Zyrtex lasts 20 hours at least for itching and sneezing

Yes, I do suffer from allergies to darn near everything.

According to the allergist I saw when I lived in Mass. about 10 years ago, I am allergic to everything that blooms in the spring and falls into a dusty or moldy heap in the fall. :biggrin_25510: She told me I am also allergic to cats and cows. I knew I was allergic to cats but I asked her if I wasn't supposed to eat or pet the cows. :biggrin_255::biggrin_25526: Since I had no intention of giving up red meat I decided she meant I should avoid petting zoos. :biggrin_25525:

I am allergic to most pollens, ragweed, mold, dust, cats, etc. I should probably live in a bubble, but the truth is I love the outdoors.

I am NOT allergic to dogs, horses, or rabbits. I guess that's cause I grew up in the country and had constant exposure to those things.

I have taken many prescription and non-prescription meds over the years in addition to shots. I am currently taking Xyzal, I think it's prescription Zyprexa. Seems to be doing okay so far, I've only been on it two weeks. The worst times of year for me are spring and fall.

My mom is allergic to pork and strawberrys. The combination makes her break out in hives. So if she has pork chops for dinner she can't have strawberry shortcake for dessert or her head swells up like a bumpy balloon. :biggrin_2551:
