Do you honk at kids?

ABSOLUTELY!! I EVEN ENJOYED MYSELF AS A KID!

 

I don't usually honk at them. I try to sneak up behind them and run them over when they have their backs turned......


Actually, yeah I do if they make the appropriate "horn honk" gesture!

 

Well, when me and the miss start driving, we have agreed not to do that unless the other one is already awake. Probably make me made to a horn blaring for no reason. I do wish that it would be possible, but sleep is too important, and even though the kids will not realize why we cannot do it, its a good lesson for them to learn.

I used to love doing that, and if you thank about it, its such a pointless delight, but fun non the less.

 

I know back quite a while ago I used to really enjoy traveling as a kid getting the truckers to honk when given the hand motion. Now days I my kids don't get the same results. I will surely acknowledge kids and such as long as it was safe as most have mentioned.

 

I try to toot the horn if the situation is right. But if Mom or Dad (who ever is driving) makes a dumb move, I'll try to make sure and exhaust all the air pressure in the horn.... Kids remember the darnedest things...

 

that was my son's favorite thing when he was younger. he loved to hear the "big horns", as he called them. now that i will be driving, he can't wait to toot those horns for himself. and i intend to oblige him. some very fond memories of that little boy, face in the window, pumping his arm at the rigs going by! thanks to all you guys who made his day. i will do the same!:smt041

 

If I could only count the times I was passing another truck and my wife would give the horn honk gesture to other trucker.

And yes, I have honked for the kids many times.

 

My codriver would do it while I was in the sleeper trying to sleep!! Could, and almost did, kill him!!
