I love to see the smiles on kids faces when I respond to their honk gestures... It brings back many fond memories of my own childhood when drivers would honk to my gesture.

As others have said I try to be safe and smart about it, but I will bend my own rules sometimes... Last week I was driving through a small rural town in Colorado, a bunch of kids with a few adults had just came out of a building and were walking down the side walk... One boy started giving the gesture from a few hundred yards away. By time I was 50 or so feet away 4 or 5 more had joined him. Normally I wouldn't honkbin town but the street was empty except me and the group of children, so I laid into the horn in a "wah, waaaahhh" fashion. They kids loved it, laughing smiling, and waving. And it really made my day As Well.

I’m dreading the day I get a new truck. It won’t be anytime soon but still I don’t want one.

2000 w9 with a c12, 8LL and 4.89 gears. I get about 3 mpg and top out at 65. It’s perfect for what I use it for though, I haven’t been on the freeway in two weeks.

Well speak of the devil. So they took my truck and gave me a 98 w900 with a broken Jake brake switch. Lol they are stuck ON. Good thing they are the best sounding and loudest on a truck I’ve ever had.

I told the shop and they said it’s a rule, when you drive this beast you must always have them on. No ac anymore but who cares. Apparently this truck has legendary status and everyone loves driving it. Rides reallll smooth.

I was going through some small town and signs were posted prohibiting the use of air horns... Three kids were walking down the sidewalk and they turned and gave the arm pump as I drove by. I obliged with the air horn.

What did I see in the mirror? Three sets of double middle fingers....

Sorry what I post about not blowing the horn for the kids. Ok, I do blow the horn for the kids when I see the air arm pump. Hell, I do it when not in middle in traffic or a city. But I enjoyed when they smile and laugh when they get the horn. I do forget the laws. Btw #### the law. Yes, I blow when I can see it. Sorry kids if I don't see you doing it when you passed by fast.
