Do you know...? Disgusting Cigarette smokers

I have my own recipe for frybread, but I have to cheat a little on the green chili. I have my own recipe for red and black bean chili...and make one h*** of a good Indian taco. But i'd have to dig through my storage unit for the chili recipes. Don't know 'em off the top of my head. I just did what sounded good and wrote it down as I went.

I posted my frybread recipe in the "firearms on trucks" thread not long after I joined the forum during a short period of hijacking. I'll see if I can find it.

Yep, I am one of those "disgusting" smokers. But, ask 1nonly whether it's obnoxious in my truck. I'm sure she could tell I smoke in here, but it's definitely not overpowering. Even in the dead of winter, my window is wide open while my tobacco is burning. As to my health and lung condition, I use tobacco with no additives in it. I can run from the shop to the truck exit gate in the Phoenix yard and not be too winded...after having smoked for over 20 years. Oh, and my blood pressure? Usually about 90/56. No worries there. My teeth are not yellow, my pulse rate runs about 80, my cholesterol is a little high, but the ratios are great and my last chest x-ray showed a little scarring in my lungs from two back-to-back bouts of pneumonia 12 years ago, but otherwise perfect... So I guess that health theory is blown, too.

Mrs. Truckrswife is right on the money when she discusses your approach. Just the title to the thread is antagonistic. It sure got my attention.

 

Same here, Injun. When I'm smoking in my vehicle, the window is down. When the car is sitting, all my windows are cracked for fresh air/ventilation. I won't smoke around people that don't smoke, but if I'm outside smoking and a non smoker comes up to me, I won't stop. I was there smoking when they came seeking me out.

My BP is in the low normal range, my pulse is normal, my lungs are completely healthy, according to Xrays and the doc. I can do physical labor without getting winded, and I don't miss work due to illness, unlike my non smoking co-workers.

It's my belief that smokers are better able to deal with the temperature extremes as we are required to be outside in them to smoke. I sit in offices and look at the non smokers who wear 3 layers of clothing, gloves and a winter coat because they are freezing.

I wonder what people will do when they make cigs/tobacco illegal, and taxes are raised due to all the lost revenue from tobacco sales.

I have no statistics, but I would guess there are more people killed worldwide by drunk drivers than by smokers, yet alcohol is acceptable.

I hold no ill will nor do I detest non smokers, yet they seem to detest me. Seems hypocritical *shrugs*

Do you see anywhere in her post where she said it was okay for kids to light up? She discussed her health in general, but I guess she wasn't speaking slow enough. I'll be sure to tell her so she can speak slower on her next post./ Don't take it personal.

Practicing unprotected sex is like playing Russian Roulette, yet a healthy percentage of people engage in this practice. So we should prohibit sex, and as a result, exponentially decrease the possibility/odds of transmitting a disease that could destroy life? It's not like sex is a necessity of life. I mean a woman can always be artificially inseminated to procreate in a pristine environment, thereby eliminating any chance of contamination. No matter how hard the liberals try and dictate to others what they think we should do, they will never be able to stop us from doing what we want to do, no matter how hard they try and control us.

Thanks to Blackcat, I have decided to take up smoking again. I am in my truck right now smoking with the windows up. And I'm not coming out until I die of lung cancer... hopefully in a secluded rest area where my body will have ample time to ferment and ruin the interior of this truck even further.
