Ill tackle most things that bolt on. Anything i do on my own own has to pass the "if I start on sunday, am I f'd on monday" test
Texasgordo, austinmike and nikmirbre Thank this. -
Most of those 3rd party ones dont work for paccar. I got jpro, diesel laptops ect
And even the diagnostic software i got direct from peterbilt only let me SEE issues. Not reprogram and wouldnt even let me access anything emissions. And that one was $3200. Paccar is a diffrent animal and a #### scam in a lot of ways. -
I know how to check the oil.......that's about it.
201, Sirscrapntruckalot, Concorde and 1 other person Thank this. -
Mine has paccar. Even has deletes for paccar. So, idk. I don’t own a paccar. And I won’t if that is the caseSons Hero, High Stepper and wore out Thank this.

30 years ago was only 1995. My 02 is barely different from a 95.
I will say, Ive gotten into a funk where I lack the motivation to work on the truck on weekends after being out all week. It causes me to push off some simple stuff that can turn into a bigger issue down the road, and thats on me.
I will say one thing Ive run into in the last few yrs is when I just need some advice on a repair and I just basically want a simple confirmation to make sure Im either fixing or diagnosing correctly, and it seems like everyone has a "f you, pay me to fix it" or will blatantly lie to my face about how difficult a simple repair is, like they're trying to scare the person into having them do the work. Its pretty sad.201, rollin coal, Isafarmboy and 1 other person Thank this.
