Have you guys ever had DOT commenting or questioning your pc/asking for evidence during an inspection? If so, what kind of talk was it?

On the other hand, can anyone recall having their odometer readings compared between days during an inspection?

It being an AOBR changes some of the advice, but not all. It simply boils down to company policy at that point, not the law. If you have PC available, why not use it? That's what it's for.
As for not seeing the miles, your company can run a Miles without hours report and see the movement. The question becomes do they care enough to do it.
And logging yard moves and such without doing it is falsifying. You'll be very unlucky to get caught sure, but again why when you have a very legal means to log?

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.
