Sometimes there is no choice but to idle or you will have to call a Tow truck

Thanks everyone, I know I'm sensitive about my sleep and I care about others confort around me , I drive a freight liner. Argosy cab over , so I have no choice but to idle so I'm glad to hear I won't bother anyone when I idle

With my Reefer Chug a luggin Chug a luggin. A truck Idleing errrrrr errrrrrrrrrr errrrrrrrrrr. An Apu buzzing. rahhhhhhhhhhhhh rahhhhhhhhhhhh rahhhhhhhh. Me snoring. Oh what a beautiful piece of classical music that not even Mozart could compose. I call it truckin #9 concerto. It also helps to drown out the voices in my head. ;)

It's ashame fuel is so expensive. The idle of my own truck always put me to sleep like a baby. I could care less what anybody else was doing.

Everyone has the right to idle. to each his own. some don't like if it takes someone 5 try's to back in. do what ya gotta do. I expect the unexpected & the stuff I personally do not have a preference for, but that's life & some things that truckers do may be annoying to some, but for me... I rarely get offended, cause I don't look to be, & refuse to be offended. I mean come on.. idleing at a truck stop? who would guess such a thing.

You can park nose in to beat some of the sounds.

Invest in a set of earplugs, works like a charm.
