Parking troubles at truck stops?
I don't have 'em. Reserved parking every day in a lot that's never full.
(Translation: I drive a day cab, park my truck in the same spot every day and sleep at home)
But, when I did do the OTR thing, I maintained a vampire schedule as much as load/unload appointments allowed for it. During the times I was forced to be solar powered I can't remember having too many issues with finding a place to park.
Do you park wherever you can at truckstops?

iv been known to invent and spot every now and then. i generally avoid inventing spots on the end of a row or a corner where traffic is turning as i don't want to wake up to my hood being removed.
i am parked at a grain elevator tonight. sometimes its better to think outside the box than park somewhere your likely going to get hit. -
Ya a grain elevator is pretty safe. Impossible to hit those.

I tend to plan my trip, start the day earlier than most, and park near the back. I often luck out and get to park at customers, both shippers and receivers, so I don't have to deal much with truck stops, thankfully.
