Do you pass trucks governed 1mph less than you?

wht company u with that sets u at 65?

 

Would you even consider switching companies based on truck speed?

 

yep, i could hve 40 mins left on my dot.. with that 65 mph, i can get to a truck stop in time.. delivering my loads faster and on time, plus more detention pay.. with 65, i can do 600 miles everyday with ease, but at 62 not possible

 

I'm in a 62 mph truck, I get passed by Carolina Cargo like I'm sitting still, you should check them out

Good company. I almost went to work for them back in the day outta CLE, but it's a 2 hour drive from where i live, and Cincy is 3 plus. Which terminal you out of, or is it the PA one?

 

Ugh. Been watching this thread and tried to stay out of it. I run the speed limit. Whatever it is. Run 68 at night through the wee hours. Construction zones i run the exact posted limit. A few under if congestion. On the cruise in the great wide open. On the throttle when round others. If one tries to pass at half a mile faster than me i back off and let em go. If im matching anothers speed or a lil faster i maintain a good following distance and kick it down to avoid the race. Its just common sense to me. I know it aint so common no more.

 

if u gonna pass dude, makesure u at least 5mph faster not 1 mph
